My cousin's husband is a prof at that big school with granite pillars. His field of expertise is natural science.
Hs said that his study of a rare phenomenon in Cape Town provided interesting results. He says that, when the northwester and the southeaster blows with the same velocity, equilibrium is reached, producing a windless day!
According to him, though, it is believed that Capetonians cannot walk upright on wind-still days. It will remain a hypothesis, of course, as any good Capetonian will know that a windless day here is just another unproven theory.
