As for the post, it is not true. My tests show that new installation of Windows 10 is more responsive on PC with 2GB RAM than on the 4GB. Strange, but it could be because on 2GB RAM MS turned off all this 'telemetry' spyware&cryptocurrency mining crap (useless on 2GB anyway). It is why Microsoft do not support 2GB PC anymore!!!

A fresh installation of Windows 7 on 2GB RAM PC is little bit more responsive than Win10. On 4GB Windows 7 is much more faster.

No he doesn't, also I've had experience with moving W7 systems to W10 with 2, 4, 8 and 16GB RAM. In no case was it slower, some it was the same, other times it was a little bit snappier, especially in the lower brackets but that's my personal experience. I find it really strange that he says MS doesn't support 2GB anymore if they have had the same sys requirements from 7 through to 10.

Old data, since the v1709 crap came out, it is now minimum 4GB. This is also the first time parts of 'telemetry' are moved to the Defender. Coincidence?

As for the performance on 2GB vs 4GB RAM, it is consistent across all installation I made (>30). 4GB RAM is the worse case, it is a moment where 'telemetry' kicks out.
 
I have one DEll XPS 2720 with Win 10 Pro, its now fully updated to newest sw state. I did have some update nightmares, but discovered if it hangs at a certain -%(Percentage), I just unplug the network cable from the router, wait 1 minute, replug and after about another 2 minutes it will continue and finish the update. This saved me each time(Flaw in Win 10). I remember having a problem along the line with the some Apps that fail on load after upgrade from 1510 I think, but solved that by uninstalling those I never use or can, and updating the NVIDIA driver from NVIDIA site- It did it, but showed failed in history, but App problem was solved, and eventviewer way better.
So far I am happy with it, took about a week to block a load of stupid stuff on it.

No it isn't. I linked you the official Windows 10 system requirements as displayed on their site, it's not old, it's the current requirements.
Stop with the telemetry BS, it was already asked that you provide proof in the other thread, which never happened.

Yeah, numbers missing again, exactly the opposite of my experience on ~200 machines (was helping set up a couple of computer labs at uni) that we took from 4 to 8GB, W7 to W10.
Also, why would they disable telemetry under/over 4GB (your phrasing is weird)? That makes no sense.

I see you shouldn't really comment based on the above, for two reasons:

1. You don't have hands-on experience with 2GB vs 4GB PC, only above 4GB (where performance is more consistent)

2. I don't believe that techs @university are so stupid to install consumer/retail version (Home or Pro) in labs. They have access to the Educational version - cheaper - and this version is shipped without MS 'Telemetry'.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

It is memory intensive process, especially when combined with cryptocurrency mining.
