Hi Guys,

Hope you're all doing well.

Remember with Windows 7 you could download SP1 as a stand-alone and then just execute the file on whatever machine needed it without re-downloading it everytime?

Is there a site / way you can download stanalone executables for Windows 10 as well?

Like if I want to download Build 1607 as a standalone & not having to download it on every machine I get by going to Windows Updates on that machine.

Just want to download all the patches / build's as standalone's and then install them "offline" on whatever machine I have.

Does anyone know how I can do that?

Thx a lot guys!

Don't know about that. They force to update or not as patches are deployed.

Yea, was just hoping I could download the different build's as standalone's.

Updating every machine I get through the Windows Update tab eats bandwidth & more importantly, time.

My apologies for sounding stupid.

I have this 1607 .iso

Do I just unpack it and click on the SETUP file within Windows and it'll upgrade offline?

Like the Windows 7 Service Packs?

I am doing well since I don't use Windows 10 anymore, so be warned.

Rather deply on one PC and test Internet bandwith it takes, see whether you can afford when multiplying it by number of PC's. Calculate whether it is viable to spend additional time to maintain it. Your settings is being reset after each major update, just multiply this time by number of machines. Remember, there is no autmoated script to move your settings to a different one. In my opinion Windows 10 for small office is a receipe for disaster.

You can download current build ISO from Microsoft, just select option that you want to install on a different machine. It will give you more options.

If you want to download the older build 1607, follow the link below. It is just front-end page, links point to the Microsoft servers. Be warned again that starting from this built Group Policy setting is server-dependent. It means that it will ignore auto update GP settings if Microsoft wishes otherwise and it will update when you have a critical tasks to do. You are completely out of control.

Just mount the iso and hit setup.exe

No need for Rufus if it's uefi bios you can just format flash drive to fat32 and then copy contents of iso over.

what's idiotic?
Idiots comment as XP installation has no embedded mass storage USB drivers, so Rufus (alone) won't help. Even with extra software support installation is problematic. Anger is guiding these guys who make such comments.
