Good morning,

I just did a reset of my PC with W11. I have installed all the apps i regularly use.

Is it possible to create an ISO that I can use to do a re-install in future with all the apps settings as it is now, from a USB ?

TIA

With VEAAM's free Windows Backup agent it will create a bootable snapshots to restore the disk to the point of last backup done.
But not on an ISO. USB or external disk.
You could perhaps play with the final snapshot and write it to DVD?

I was also going to suggest taking an image of the disk.

Alternatively you could automate app installation and settings using Powershell, perhaps pulling the latest version of your apps from winget or Chocolatey. If you don't know Powershell, ChatGPT could probably help you.

You could also try something like Chocolatey. It's a package manager for Windows like dnf or apt. There's also a GUI-type installer if you prefer that over the CMD.

The benefit of the CMD is that you can just create a script and run that and it will download and install all your apps. I think there are about 10 000 packages that can installed via Chocolatey.
