Windows 7 As Primary OS?

Just went on to the first torrent site I could think of. From what I've read this is the last build before the RC2 is released sometime in May.
 
I can't beleive everyone is going ape for the next build ... bla bla bla... I tested the first public release, downloaded it from the MS tech site. Was happy with what I found. Killed the install and will patiently wait for the RTM. You dont know if they are going to let you run a RC full time with an upgrade? so why bother ? From all they hype, looks like ver 7100 is beng tested?!? Dunno how tru that is, but that means RTM is much closer than we think!
 
Stupid question but why does MS not release incremental updates or use Xdeltas instead of making people download the entire iso every time?

From what I heard it's called testing, so even if RTM came you don't want people complain on the upgrade as a fresh install would just clear all the error or bugs in one go. If at least you have some knowledge on how to sort out those some times irritating bugs, then you should be ok. But remember it is better place for personal use than commercial as it is still in its testing periods.

I'm also in the poor, got an Omni-antenna as I had no patience to speak to one of those so called technical staff for geo-positions for a directional one.

Thanks for the info on the build. Just got home just now and found some RS links for build 7077. Have just started the downloads now...will probably have time to install this weekend. Thanks again.

That's the thing, Vista is better than XP and I am using Vista, so from Vista to Win 7 there is a loss in compatibility. From XP there is a helluva improvement.

Vista is totaly ****. Try running Visual Studio 2008 for instance, endless hassles.
 
no issues here in xp, vista, win7 or XPM with vs2008, only extra effort i had to apply was when i joined my xpm to the domain...
