Windows 7 called slower than Vista

OH I have it. When next year they come out in much larger, cheaper sizes, maybe I'll buy a 500GB and put this 160GB in a laptop. I still paid less than local price for it. They go for R5400 locally for 1st Gen drives, which don't support TRIM.

Thats again your old diluded opinion, I have no need for a SSD yet. I also doubt if you have one (or two) neither that you ever did any testing to see if it speeds up the applications/programs after booting.

I press the On button, it boots. Test done.
I click program icon. It runs. Test done.

How do you test boot times and application loading?

Benchmarks? Google for them.

You know if you keep your old XP and buy an SSD without buying Win 7, you'll have a much faster boot/shutdown. I recommend you do this. Of course if you
can afford both, go ahead buy Win 7 and an SSD.

You should watch some Hayao Miyazaki or Isao Takahata. They're both highly acclaimed directors and well received by top directors and reviewers in the west.

No-one in this thread was able to tell me I will get faster boot speeds than 15 sec on my netbook and 10 sec on my Mac, under 7.
