I posted a while ago about my HP microserver randomly rebooting and thought it could be heat.

I blew out all the dust, tried CPU temp and it seemed within norm (under 50 degrees). I bought a brand new SSD drive with a fresh install of both Windows 7 64 bit and XBMC - but it still reboots.

It can really only be either the GFX card or the RAM :/ But before I open up etc - is there a log on Windows as to the error and reboot?

No, I was lazy :/

I'll get something now

I think I found the issue ... ;)

Thanks

Also,

Click Start, and then click Control Panel. Click Performance and Maintenance, then click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Computer Management. Or, open the MMC containing the Event Viewer snap-in.
In the console tree, expand Event Viewer, and then click the log that contains the event that you want to view.
In the details pane, double-click the event that you want to view.

GPU is running to 106 degrees ...

i think the issue is the fan actually died ... :/

I just know it's a Geforce GT610 - only wanted it for the HDMI as it's on my XBMC server

If that's the cheapest, yea ;)

I'll pull out the card soon as see

So the Microserver has one more use - you could make breakfast in it :D

Gigabyte junk?

EVGA won't let you down

:wtf: been using Gigabyte in my PC (MB + GPU) for donkey years & have always been happy ... the times I did have problems was a quick 5min process of a swap-out @ Rectron ....
I have not upgraded in a long time as I didn't find a need to yet (not actively gaming anymore), so I don't know if you referring to the newer products, but from what I've heard, the warranties are still good.
