Windows 7 Event Log

:wtf: been using Gigabyte in my PC (MB + GPU) for donkey years & have always been happy ... the times I did have problems was a quick 5min process of a swap-out @ Rectron ....
I have not upgraded in a long time as I didn't find a need to yet (not actively gaming anymore), so I don't know if you referring to the newer products, but from what I've heard, the warranties are still good.

Not the whole Gigabyte range is junk, they have their share of bad products from time to time.

Two or three threads linked the same fault, only to find GPU fan not working.
How many people recommended to check CPU/GPU temperature? I think Rickster did. :)

I did CPU back then ... But the program I got then only checked CPU and not GPU - and I was lazy to get another program I admitted :)

Also didn't know the GPU got so hot just above idle, and so fast! I thought it really needed to work hard

But new card installed and working

Yea, they sound dodgy. What did you pay?

PoV is the subsidiary company of Palit Microsystems. They're decent with warranties and support if you live in Europe, not so much anywhere else in the world. My boss found out the hard way about buying their brand when he couldn't get warranty support for them. Two GTX480s, down the drain.

You should hit up Phoenix-Tech and ask if it's still under warranty.

You can also use MSI afterburner ! it works great for me!

True, but they ranked EVGA Precision the best, the only thing that MSI AB has that EVGA P doesnt is x64 bit OSD support.

That is really boils my blood.
