any of the local suppliers sell a microsoft IR receiver

help would be appreciated

i bought a cheap remote and receiver from zaps online, just to get the receiver to be used with other remote(s)

Microsoft sell an IR receiver/remote for the MS Media Center. I bought one a couple of years back; should be still available.

i bought the Compro K300 to get the IR receiver in the end.... Now waiting for stock for the Logitech Harmony 300

then to figure out how to piece the puzzle together to make it work with XBMC.

quite confused about that tbh
