Windows 7 Media Center

Has anyone got any experience with this? I finally got Windows 7 RC 64bit working after all sorts of issues with installing it (non-MS related).

Its taken me all of two days just to get the guide imported from an XMLTV file - information and code seems to be sparse on the interwebz - I want to try and get the logo's, etc working now, although giving it a bit of a rest, I think I've remaped the channels about 10 times this weekend.

Anyone else running it though - its great compared to Vista Media Center. Everything just seems better - a bit slow on my aging Media Center PC though.

I'm running it, only changed the theme so far. Working very well. Although I think I'm going to offer it another GB of RAM.

I've gone from MCE2005 to Win7, so it's a welcome jump

I'm still on Vista Media Center, when i swapped it out for 7000 had endless problems with Media Center... Not sure what RC is like... hope its improved and not so Busy looking!

What sorta problems did you have? I noticed last night it wouldn't let me record certain channels - but today its fine

Running 4GB of memory on my media center - think I need a gfx upgrade.

My old pc has 32bit Win7 on it now..... and its begging to be used...
