Windows 7 price

W7 is not Vista with a few bugs ironed out, there are quite a few significant changes.

And you are allowed to remove the OS from a machine if it was purchased with a DSP license, you just can't transfer that DSP license to a new machine.
I wish people would get their info right before attacking a product/company....

You can if you can trick the ms customer support rep into activating your machine again. The old my mobo died one works very well.;)
 
You can, but its against the EULA... and tricking MS Customer Support is v easy.
 
Grimspoon : At least research something before you attack it?... and if you are challenged on your opinion, have the decency to get some correct information to back it up, and don't attack the person if you can't back up your opinion.
 
I dunno toxic i loaded windows 7 man and it looks and feels exactly like vista, maybe faster but my general feeling was its vista, i love vista so if it looks and feel like vista i will love it long time :)

With any license you can MS a BS story and they will activate over and over and over, they even for xp have a computer lady do it for you over and over and over :p
 
Ahhh... but looking and feeling like Vista doesn't necessarily make it a Vista with a few bugs fixed now does it?

No... I have an issue when people attack a product or a company without actually knowing WHAT they are talking about, and I also have an issue when people are challenged on their opinion they resort to attacking the person challenging them.

Its just immature and annoying.
 
Toxic nobody attacked you man :), chill out dude.

I think windows 7 is good but in all honesty i won't run beta as it feels to me like a different skin on my vista install :). I will wait for the finished product rather this time :)

killa : Grimspoon kinda did and from an indefensible position at that... and I've had a long day dealing with devs, so I'm kinda spoiling for a fight :)

I have the beta installed on my machine and am testing it for a variety of things... But it won't become my production OS until its RTM.

lol yeah well at least you admited that you looking for a fight....You need to just chillax and not be so sensitive. You woulda known if I was attacking you :D
 
Has fsckall to do with me being sensitive... I just need to swear at people :D

You try troubleshooting a page that isn't instantiating a control thats being pulled from a different server and writing to a DB in a different bloody country. AND then try get the dev to understand his code is a mess.
 
Magic don't stress man, this OS will be out late this year of early next year :)

Next time don't buy the OS :p
