Thought I would share some usefull information that not all of you may be aware of.

I used my product-key that I bought with an OEM license of Windows 7 Professional 32-bit on a 64-bit download and it works fine. Even though I had used the same product key for a year and a half on my 32-bit version, I could use the same key on 64-bit version that I downloaded (on the same PC). I activated it online and all is legit.

You can use the same key for either 32 bit install or 64 bit install, but if you still have the 32 bit pc and now also a 64 bit pc with the same key you are not "legit" ...
Can only use it for one pc... either 32 bit or 64 bit, but yes, it does allow you to install both but just remember that's illegal...

Agreed, thanks for clearing that up. You have to you use it on the same PC. I should have made that clearer. I had upgraded my RAM to 10GB so I needed the 64-bit version on the same PC. So I'll never use my 32-bit install again because it can't read that amount of memory.

Nice to know that Microsoft is lenient like this.
