Windows 7 RC1 and ATI catalyst driver taskbar icon

hi all

when windows loads up it should have the ATI icon in the taskbar at the bottom right...

sometimes it loads, sometimes it doesnt... weird! Anyone else got this? the drivers are definitely working fine, as I loaded up Damnation with and without the icon and everything was ok.

Just making sure, can you see it when you click on the little up arrow?

Yeah you have to specify whether you want notification icons visible all teh time

I'm having exact same problem. However mine doesn't show up in the task bar or when I right click desktop to go into CCC. I've uninstalled, reinstalled and all. I just gave up eventually.

What do you guys actually use those icons for? It's usually the first thing I disable on a PC.

If you're using windows 7, try double clicking.

it's a Windows 7 thing - same with all the other systray icons.

CCC tray icon is always visible with version 9.6.

his setup is nice, but why would I be jealous? if he had a tri-sli GTX280 then yeah, i'd be kinda jealous.

I think YOU are the one who is jealous...ur probably running a 9800GT or something
