Windows 7 - release date in SA?

Hello Moron noodle ,

As per my knowledge the original version will release on November to December.
And i want to say if you use 64 bit OS so may be its possible that some applications will not run.
And the next question for free new version so its not the problem you can get easily from net...

World Wide release date is 22 October.
If you buy the retail copy you get both the 64 bit and 32 bit disc in the box.
If you go pro or ultimate you can use win xp virtualisation mode for the apps that won't run.

I will be getting a copy of home premium retail. Going to preorder as soon as the e-tailers start listing it.

I think I'll go for Home Edition and Ultimate. Home premium for my dad/mom/sister and Ultimate for myself.

I got hold of a few copies at a discount from a contact. This was after I begged him, because we bought some expensive design software from them.
