Windows 7 : to DSP or not

So time for a new OS. Is it worth will buyin windows 7, if you keep future Pc upgrades in mind or will the DSP do?

The DSP version is owned by the pc upon which it's installed, not by you.

so then If I upgrade half the pc, I would have to buy a new DSP version then ?

Depends on what you're upgrading.

Yes, changing the motherboard and RAM and hard drive (or something like that) would trigger the need for a new license... although you can phone them and wrangle with them that it IS the same PC.

DSP = No Support from MS + tied to a single computer, no transferability, but much cheaper.

just buy the non DSP version and be done with it, not much of a price difference
