I have a laptop currently running on XP and want to upgrade it to Windows 7 (any windows 7). What is the best, and cheapest, way to do this? Do i have to buy a full Windows 7 license, or is there a cheaper upgrade pack of some sorts?

I don't have them on hand at the moment. It's a 64-bit Intel processor if that is what you're wondering about.

Doesn't matter if you only have 1Gig ram. Did it came out with XP? Will it handle Windows 7?
No-one you know have a Windows 7 second hand lying around, that want's to sell it?

It should be fine specs wise.

You can try Esquire and see if they have cheaper prices than Firstshop or Rebel Tech.

I see Frontosa still sells 7 but only Pro. Over R2k ex VAT. Pretty much the same price as 8.1 and 10 Pro. They even still sell Vista .
