Has anyone got the Huawei E1820 (Cell C stick) to work on windows 8 64bit? I've tried multiple different firmware and drivers and can't seem to come right.

I'm using mobile partner, all my other modems work using NDIS mode.

The modem works if I create a dial up connection and use MDMA but if I use NDIS mode it just says "Connecting...."

so far I have tested it on:

PC 1 - Windows 8 64 bit (Not connecting)
PC 2 - Windows 8 64 bit (Not connecting)
PC 3 - XP (Connects fine)
PC 4 - Vista (Connects Fine)
PC 5 - Windows 7 64 bit (Not connecting)
PC 6 - Windows 7 32 bit (Connects fine)

The strange thing is, other devices work fine on all OS's it's just this e1820 that is giving crap.

Tried that, still doesn't work. Please do me a favour and post a screenshot of your "Device Info" in mobile partner or the cell c software, I'd like to see exactly which firmware your modem is using etc etc.

I'd suspect older drivers more than firmware

C:/program files/mobile partner/driver/
Double click on release notes & what is the last entry numbers? eg' 4.25.11

I can't get that now for you, but the firmware was the stock Cell-C E1820 version, 11.831 something.
The dashboard was the Cell-C branded Mobile Partner.

Damn weird. Mine is the same. I've tried another e1820 with stock cell-c firmware and same issues. Any other ideas?
