Windows 8 on Samsung Ativ tab and 3g problem

Hi

I have a Samsung Ativ tab running Windows 8 and cannot get my (MTN) 3g modem to work. I get a message 'this app cant run on PC'.

I'm using an E0682 3g modem. It works on my laptop running Windows 7 and a desktop running XP.

Can anyone out there please help.

Have you tried a firmware update for the modem on Windows 7?

Please also check the modem model- E0682 is the international standard, the card model number is in smaller lettering just underneath.
