Windows Live Mail Send issue

With windows live messages do not seem to be sent immediately, just hangs around in the outbox.

I have set the options to check the server every 3mins and also to send messages immediately.

Any ideas. If I go offline and online the message gets sent though.

Ignore this post, problem sorted out.

Seems even WLM has issues with message stores that are approaching 1GB. I split the sent items folder into different years and compacted on exit. After that everything is a-ok
