Windows Live Messenger Blocked

Can anybody assist. my friends windows live messenger has been blocked. well she thinks so, as they changed servers yesterday and proxy settings, now cant access skype or messenger. Do any of you know how to access it

If it's at work, chances are it would be against company policy to try and work around this... I would think they blocked it purposely

dont know if its blocked. app they changed a few things yesterday as the pc's had a few virus's. it is at work yes.

Works with Gmail, Yahoo, MSN, etc etc and doesn't require any software installations
