I am having a problem on my PC laptop. Every time I stick in my flash disk a Windows - No Disk error pops up. I cannot get rid of the the pop up window, and my whole machine freezes up. The only thing I can do is restart the machine to stop the message. There is no problem with the flash disk on other machines

Here is the error Message:

Windows - No Disk
Exception processing Message C0000013 Parameters 75b6bf7c

I had a look on the internet, and tried a couple of things, and nothings seems to work.

This is what I have tried:
1. Virus and malware scan on my PC - no infected files found, and virus definitions are up-to-dat (using NOD32)

2. Uninstalled problem applications mentioned on the internet - Quicktime, Norton's and Hp software

3. Changed and Assigned the memory stick to a different drive letter, then restarted the machine. Still no luck.

4. When I restart the machine in safe mode, it can read the flash drive fine, but what driver could be giving the issue, what do I need to uninstall

5. Tried creating a new user account, but the same happens with the new user.

Is there anything else I can try, before resorting to reformatting the machine?

Do other usb drives work in the effected machine? Then w could pin-point the problem the machine, or the flash disk, when used with that machine.

No flash disk, or external drive works in the machine. They all make that error pop up. Then need to unplug the device and restart the machine, for everything to run smoothly again.
