can someone tell me how to setup windows on a linkbook. how to get the laptop in cd-rom boot mode. to install windows

The Linkbook does not use an x86/x64 cpu (i.e NOT an Intel or AMD or similar CPU). I can't remember if the Linkbook uses ARM/PowerPC/MIPS: "cat /proc/cpuinfo" in a console window to check.
You're pretty much stuck with the custom linux OS you have unless you become creative and figure out how flash another Linux/BSD to the NAND/ROM.
