Hi,

We currently RDP to our dedicated servers at IS. We have long complicated passwords for our logins. I wanted to know if it is possible to RDP onto the server using a private public key the same way you can do with SSH. Is this possible?

Thanks

With third party software, yes. But I like to keep as much of my security help internally. Public key means that you have to transmit more than just the encrypted password. The software on IS's side will need to match too.

Keep it simple and secure. Keep using long passwords, 128 or 256 bit stream encryption. Change password often.
