Does anyone know of a particular webcam that is supported out-of-the-box by Windows Server 2008 R2?

None of the Logitech range is (although some have managed to get certain ones working through slight hacks, etc)
but I can't find those webcams, so any brand/models will do.

TIA!

You are going to struggle to get this working on Windows Server 2008, the dont really care about non server peripherals.

You can try installing Win7 drivers. I managed to install my one graphics adapter in 2K8 using the Win7 drivers.

that being said, I agree... Server OS isn't really meant for end-user peripherals.

Tried already and failed miserably :/

In all honestly, it looks like I'll get my way after all - the way of "a server should be serving, not taking photos" :D

My built in webcam on my Hp laptop works just fine, so its not impossible.
Only thing i've ever had issues with 2008 and 2008r2 is bluetooth...
