Pinnacle has partnered with MyBroadband to create awareness around the End of Support for Windows Server 2008.

Support for Windows Server 2008 and 2008 R2 will end on 14 January 2020.

As part of the campaign, we are giving away an Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet and 20,000mAh power bank.

Servers still running Windows Server 2008/R2 after End of Support run the risk of being completely unsupported and unprotected, as Microsoft will no longer provide security fixes after the EOS date of 14 January 2020.
 
Windows Server 2008 operated when business demands were a fraction of what they are today and before the modern capabilities of the Cloud.


This said, we make use of sbs for reasons , and it works well l. To date, there is no replacement for sbs
