Stuck power button, bad contact?
I believe if that was the case then the PC wouldn't really function. Holding the power button long enough will cause a shut down.Stuck power button, bad contact?
Saw an older Dell laptop with a similar issue. Happend with a previous windows update when you are using uefi instead of legacy mode in the bios.Funny enough, I installed the 1803 which has never given me any troubles...haven't checked if it updated to 1903.
You think it has something to do with that?
Had a similar issue way back but it was still in the dial up days iirc.Check your modem settings, internal & outboard.
A couple of years ago, my PC used to start by itself,
Wake Up on Modem, or something like that, caused the problem
Sorry, it was some time ago, & gthats all I can remember about it.
Exactly the problem I had.Saw an older Dell laptop with a similar issue. Happend with a previous windows update when you are using uefi instead of legacy mode in the bios.
Found no solution for it except for switching to legacy mode (have to re-install when changing) . Bios is up to date etc.

What PSU are you using if I may ask ?
Pc did the same this morning...saw that when I shut down the white led light stays on on mobo and then fans still on and I have switch it off at the psu switch to turn off pc completely...havent checked connectors but can it be the power cord?i use y spitter to power screen and psu...can that be faulty?
Motherboard is msi b450m pro-m2 v2
Highly unlikely that your power cord is the issue. Check for Bios updates? Perhaps its a Bios issue.
Nope, that should cause the PC not to turn offAn it be that the memory oc genie is set too high?
