Windows XP Speaker Setup Changes

Anyone have this damn problem in Windows XP when it changes your setup?

By that I mean, from 4.1 or 7.1 or whatever.

I have a 4.1 setup but XP keeps chanting it to 7.1!!!

Why are you complaining? You're getting 3.1 free!!

Lol - My friends also has problems with his 4.1. Only plays out of 2 of the speakers in WMP but in movies and that with DD it plays out of all four... Weird

Yeah, irratates the hell outta me but I've gotten so used to it, Just wanted to see if anyone else had the problem and found a way to fix it.
