Who took the plunge and bought. Which company launch and price? First impressions?

I bought mine from prophecy. ETA is monday, supplier apparently could only supply them with dsp's on launch day but I want the retail so only getting mine on monday/tuesday.

hmmm. i cant decide. got an order pending with one of the distributors but im in two minds about it. you know you wanna buy something cause its new sometimes, then realize it was a waste of money. decisions decisions.

Which is why we've been using the RC for months to check... :)

It's worth it... don't worry.

i been runnin the final release since last month, some of microsoft's enterprise partners got it already. I really like it -for work.

At home though i play games, and do video editing etc and currently Vista is working like a charm. Dont wanna open pandora's box....

If Vista works for you there is no need Yet to upgrade unless you want the sleeker looks and funtioning. I am sure M$ is going to add all the win7 extras and improvements to Vista over time and develop Vista as the Industrial choice same as NT used to be as opposed to XP (in the beginning).

The only difference being that Microsoft's own employees didn't admit to it being, overall, a relative flop :)
