Anyone know of a nice corner outfitter that sells well made shirts ?
West of Jhb.
Finding the rubbish at the chain stores becoming depressing quality wise.

Would love a good quality woollen shirt. Have one but its wearing out.

That's why I'm looking....bought a shirt at a little shop in Warmbaths. 20 years later it got thin at the collar !
Chainstore shirts shrink in different directions and last a few years tops :banghead:

Same here:D About 20 years old almost but wearing thin. Sure must be some nice quality in UK or EU but dont know size and brands to look for.

Wool shirt? I haven't heard of this. I bought an awesome flannel shirt from Cotton On. Their stuff usually isn't the greatest quality but their shirts seem pretty good.

Woollen shirts made from genuine wool. You can see its woven. Doesnt look like a jersey at all. Mine is a beautiful cream light brown colour.

Bought something nice at Amod & son. Krugersdorp West near the plastic shop. Worth a visit.

I actually found a nice one at cresta but they wanted R1200 for it so high ho off to Mr price I go.

Where exactly? If I think that mine is still in use after 15 years its worth R1200.

I am sure it has lost some of it's worth by now.

:p
Worth paying R1200 for new one. My current shirt worth zilch broken worn threadbare but love it still. Paid little for original one as brand label was removed.

Any clue or description will help as I have never been to Cresta.

Span tailors in fordsburg, mayfair, etc. that will make a good shirt for a decent price. Alternative is to go to Thailand/India and have a ton made there... Hong Kong is also pretty good... :D
