I was wondering if anyone knew of any wireless providers in Howick, as telkom aren't bothered to fix our lines to receive broadband, and using vodacom/mtn ect. is too expensive for usuage more than 1gig.

Not sure of all the service providers in the Howick area...
However I use a company called Internet Uncapped, they offer a wireless service for Howick and it's surrounding areas. Offered are two connection speeds, 128K and 256K at a flat monthly rate.
They are the cheapest option I have found, offering around 3 gigs usage on the 128k connection for around R400 a month. I believe the 256K connection offers 6 gigs for around R600 a month.

Thus far I haven't had any complaints from their service for the 1 1/2 years I have been with them.
