Wireless Broadband Ratings Report

Hi folks

I am glad to announce that the first ‘MyADSL wireless broadband report’ is now available.

The final calculation was based on around sixty variables, and the results from the official laboratory tests and user tests/feedback were surprisingly similar which substantiates these ratings.

You will notice that there is a sponsor included in this report. These funds will be used to cover some expenses incurred with the testing procedure and producing these results (it will not come close to cover everything, but every bit helps).

Looks great RPM!

Couple of suggestions:
1) Add a bit of color to the graphs.
2) Add a legend to each graph saying something like "Higher is better".
3) On each graph, assign the color dark-green to the best performer and dark-red to the worst performer.

Currently I find it difficult to analyse the graphs, especially the reliability one.

Hi Luke

All these services were rated on their 1G offering (as a mobile broadband service). In the main report (all broadband services) their best offering (price versus cap) will be looked at...

In the opening paragraph, drop the "it" after the second comma.

Great report, when will it be released? I would like to show it to a client of mine.

Hi rpm, Ic, When will the final ADSL be ready. The wireless version is very proffesional and keen to the eye.
 
Hi RPM. I cannot seem to find any mention on the report with regards to WHEN the study was done. As you know, these technologies go up and down. One month MyWireless is smooth as silk, the next month we have some issues and then IBurst gets its act together and works well for a period etc. I must say the results are surprising to me but it is WONDERFUL to have a yardstick which is objective. Thanks a million.
