Hi all,

I'm looking for someone to consult for me on setting up a pretty big wireless network using Ruckus stuff. It's going to be in quite a congested area with a couple thousand simultaneous connections.

Also going to be looking for a network specialist to help with routing, load balancing etc. If you know of someone (or you are this person), please get in touch so that we can discuss the details of the job a bit further.

What type of place? Hospitality? Event? More JHB or more PTA?

Your best port of call is wapa.org as this is were all the serious wireless guys are registered . If you PM me the area i will be able to put you in touch with the right guys and will also be able to offer you broadband over fibre for your backbone .

Thanks, will look into wapa. This is going to be at various venues across South Africa, so cant commit to an area. We've already sorted out the backhaul internet connections, just needing someone on Mikrotik and Ruckus.

PM me if you'd like to know financial details. As far as i know Ruckus is best, what would you recommend? Cisco? Xirrus?

Mikrotik provides training. I suggest ask for help on WUG, as they use Mikrotik for most of their network.

I'm well aware Mikrotik provides training. I however have various aspects of the business to run and therefore seek a knowledgable consultant on whom i can rely to take care of the Mikrotik component.
