Wireless EV charging progress

Someday soon, plug-in cars may no longer need a plug.

Electric car drivers would simply pull into a specialised parking space when it’s time to power up, wait for a light on their dashboard to switch on, and then hop out of the car and go about their day.

This is the promise of wireless EV charging, an inductive transfer of electrons that would eliminate the need for all those pesky cords.

People already have trouble parking and they have trouble lining up their phones on wireless charging pads.

I see no way this is going to be a problem. /s

I'm trying to imagine the emr leakage from a 200kw wireless energy transfer...

I wouldn't want to be anywhere near it...

The McLaren Speedtail has been having wireless charging (early implementation) for ages.
