Wireless headphones

I might be wrong, but AFAIK, NFC is only possible if the 2 NFC enabled devices are within close proximity of one another...as in 5 cm at most.

I would also recommend getting headphones with a mic attached. Personally, for me, Hangout, Skype and taking phone calls with my headphones is becoming the norm.

On Iphone 5S so no nfc anyway, don't really need mic as its mainly for gym.

These are apparently the best on the market - http://www.plantronics.com/us/product/backbeat-fit

The iPhone uses AAC , android uses AptX
To find BT headphones that support AAC is tricky - only Creative Hitz 380

Those Outdoor Tech Tags don't get decent sound quality reviews though.
Never realised it would be so tricky to find decent BT headphones, I enjoy my Music so need something decent.

Initial impressions?

It plays quite loud when Dolby is off. If my laptop is on full blast, then I have to lower the volume setting on the headphones itself to maybe a third just so that no one can hear it. People that are 2 meters away can still hear it though. So in terms of loudness, it ticks the box.

In terms of fit, it is nice and snug around your dome and I actually think that it would be difficult for it to fall. It's nice and comfortable around the ears as well. I wear glasses so I would have thought that it would hurt me, but nah, the pads are too soft and that probably makes up for the noise cancallation as wel. It ticks that box as well.

I did not test it for gaming yet.

Yes I would have loved Wireless Headphones... but fsck no, I'm not paying 3k for a pair that I must charge every day as well. There is just too much maintenance...
