Hi,

I am desperately looking for a connectivity solution for a client of ours based in Harare, Zim.

Do you offer a product that will help? At the moment, the best I can get is an analogue leased line. I look forward to hearing from anyone ASAP. I was thinking that perhaps the radio wireless solution from Sentech would help - can anyone offer any advice.

Regards,
Mike

Hehe, now that's a strange request.

I've heard that TCP/CP (TCP over Carrier Pigeon) works quite well.

http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc1149.txt?number=1149 is the official RFC for this.

On a more serious note, I believe that your best option will be some kind of 2-way sattelite system. I'm not too familiar with VSAT etc, perhaps check with InfoSat. Sentech is still rolling out in South Africa, so I doubt Zimbabwe will be on the list very soon. Perhaps later when their Grintek partnership pans out?

I see that MWeb, also has a Zimbabwean presence: http://www.mweb.co.zw/ Perhaps they'll give you pointers.
