I'm looking to buy a wireless / bluetooth type keyboard for a HTPC. Something along the lines of the Logitech Dinovo Mini (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboards/keyboard/devices/3848&cl=us,en) or Edge (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboards/keyboard/devices/192&cl=us,en) but hopefully a lot cheaper :D.

It's important that it contains both a keypad and trackpad for navigation in one device.

Any ideas?

Ok... anyone know where I can get the Logitech DiNovo Mini within a day or so? Seems like all the online stores will take about 10 working days...

I have some on back order from the distributors that was suppose to arrive last week Thursday but they now say they will only be available on the 15th. I think most supplier will only be able to help you after the 15th.

Thanks, and how much will you be selling them for?

i am also considering the above 2 units, resellers have the MINI for a round R1200ex. Instead i might be going with the Logitech MX AIR and or installing VNC on my netbook and controlling the pc via remote dekstop.

I have seen some really low prices on the DiNovo Mini compared to what the distributors are selling them for. Cheapest I can do is R1595 excluding. My order is not for resale but for our own use but I will add one if you want one.

Will I be able to pickup from you directly? And can I pay when I collect?

I've got the Microsoft Media Center Keyboard from Take 2, cheaper than the others, but the mouse is not for everyday use ;)

mm, i dunno bout the DiNovo Mini hey. I have 1 at my place, and another at a clients, and that trackpad is damn useless... it works in Media Center (as a directional), but using it as a trackpad is just a pain. The cursor jumps around all over the show, and hitting anything with any accuracy is an exercise in patience. Also, the keyboard is not great, with certain keys requiring extra hard presses to register.

On the whole it works, but I still regret not going for an all out Dinovo Edge. Played around with one of those at a mates, and it is a completely different beast in terms of usability. Yes it is bigger, but I can live with that...

I was checking for the same thing... The microsoft wireless entertainment desktop 7000 came closest to the requirements above... But was discontinued when i decided to buy :( i think some guys still sell the 8000. I went with the microsoft arc keyboard and arc mouse instead.

Nice, I need something like that for my HTPC. I've got a spare keyboard & mouse tucked away in the tv stand, but it's a mission to plug in everytime I need to use a keyboard.
