Hope someone can help I just bought myself an Asus WL-520g Wireless Router and cant get it to work the way I want?

I want to setup internet sharing one laptop that’s got a Vodacom 3G HSDPA card and file and printer sharing.

I can get the 2 notebook to connect and I can share files and use printer sharing but as soon as I activate Internet sharing on the one notebook everything stops working?

Make sure that the notebook has a static IP and the other Pc a dynamic one.

Use a static IP for the one that uses ICS

The one thing that if seen is that without the internet sharing the rooter IP address is 192.163.1.1 and allocates 192.163.1.2 to the one notebook and 192.163.1.3 to the other .Everything works fine then file sharing and printer sharing. But as soon as I activate internet sharing the notebook with ip 192.163.1.2 windows changes the IP changes to 192.163.0.1.
