Not getting much response in the iBurst forums so thought I may get better replies here.

What wireless Modem/Router is best for sharing an iBurst connection?

Would prefer something that at a later stage when our area eventually becomes ADSL compliant, that I can connect ADSL to as well simultaneously. Would also prefer it to have a USB print server capability to connect MFP.

Sure glad I do not have iBurst then.

I have a WRT54G now (that why I am selling my old router) and the Linksys is miles ahead of the rest of them out there.
Agreed. I have one of the GLs myself - complete with DD-WRT ftw!

One of the crosses we have to bear for not having an ADSL compliant exchange and no Neotel coverage as of yet.

Amobia is pretty good - if you have them in your area.

Personally I would rather go pogo jumping with loaded shotguns than to become a telkom customer.

I hate to admit it but the old Apple Airports worked well with iBurps and they have a USB port for printer. Don't know if the new version does though.

I havent seen a router that can do PPPoE over a WAN port that has a built in ADSL router sadly :(

Thanks PsyWulf. Something like the DI-824VUP looks like the better option. It seems you are right in terms of a combination PPPoE over WAN and RJ11 ADSL Modem. Methinks that hopefully one of the manufacturers may come up with one at some stage.

Have a ADSL modem, so the router will have to be seperate.

The dsl modem you have has a usb or rj45 port?

Sounds like a modem-router

It'll be fine...u can setup the router to share iburst, then once u get dsl have it connect to the aformentioned dsl modem/router :) Very little network disruption for you
