Approximately 22% of the mobile telephones sold in the United States in the fiscal quarter ending June 30 were Bluetooth-enabled as compared to 5% in the same quarter a year earlier, an NPD Group analysis determined.

All the devices I see these days seem to have bluetooth - I'm surprised the number wasnt higher.

"It is an early sign that potentially they are iPod killers," Strother said. "My view is they will steal some thunder from Apple but make the pie much bigger."

Sure - iPod killer - they really should put a tax on that buzz-phrase.
