I have the following equipment: 64 Bit PC running on Windows 7; a Huawei Modem with a Telkom Mobile card that gives me excellent speed; a Linksys Wireless-G ADSL Gateway 4 port switch (WAG54G Ver1.2).
Is it possible to set up these items to give me a wireless network in my home? If yes, please assist with advice.

What about this?? See this http://www.pccables.com/70611.html. Can I use this connector to connect the Huawei 3G modem to the ADSL port on the Linksys Gateway to provide me with a wireless network and 4 LAN ports. POSSIBLE???????

+1 - not that USB adapter plug.
You don't need any extra cards. Enable Internet sharing on PC. Just note that some modems with HiLink interface won't work. HiLink connection cannot be shared on Windows.

Problem with a dongle + router the configuration is not that easy, can't completely recall how to do it, but from what I can remember is that you won't be able to access your router through the interface anymore.

For instance typing 10.0.0.2 in the web browser won't bring up the interface anymore.

Look at TP link MR3420. I've seen one of our office guys use it and seems to be good.
