My onboard LAN port died so want to connect wirelessly to the internet via USB rather than replace an entire mobo

Any recommendations? I see a lot of people recommend the TP Link stuff but no clue where/what to buy. Would prefer retail or else very quick online ordering and delivery

Network will need to cover a 4 bedroom house where the router is basically in the middle of the rooms that will be used.

Any advice or recommendations welcome

From Uniterm Direct:

TP-LINK WN822N 300M Wireless High Gain USB Adapter

Bought a router from them, service is great

Thanks - definitely worth a look

Got one of these in a pc here: http://www.dbg.co.za/product_info.php?cPath=1_55_63&products_id=708

It is pretty decent, but we also have one of these on a laptop: http://www.dbg.co.za/product_info.php?cPath=1_55_63&products_id=691

Both run pretty well, no issues with either.
No coment on the software though as I never installed it and just let windows handle the wireless config.

thanks - is either of these pcs running on Win7 64bit?

How long is the cable that comes with it? I would prefer to plug it in at the rear of the case as that is where the majority of my USB ports are.

http://www.totolink.net/ find product N150UA Wireless USB Adapter

Bought 2 of these in Windhoek - R95 each

Work flawlessly on my Win 7 and Linux setup

Comes with a wired USB dock to extend the reach of adapter

Don't know who stock them in SA
