I have a couple of issues. It will be best if I start from the beggining.
I got a new wireless router today, my usb wireless card stopped working, so I changed usb slot, ok it connected for 20 seconds to the net and I could load 1 webpage, disconnected again, changed usb slots again, same thing, finally I moved it to the usb slot at the front of my computer(1 metre further away from my router so I thought the signal would be weaker), it connected to the net for 10 minutes, disconnected again..... took it out and plugged it in again into the same usb slot, works fine now for an hour until I tried crysis.
Why would changing usb slots help? And why would it work better on the same usb slot after a while? Note that I have not changed any settings or installed any drivers etc.
Problems are not over though, when I try and connect to Crysis(game) multiplayer online now, my internet always instantly disconnects. I had no problems on my old router yesterday with Crysis multiplayer. I am positive that my internet works fine now and that as soon as I load Crysis multiplayer it instantly disconnects. All my other internet apps work, even bit torrent gets a high speed. So why Crysis online making it disconnect?
I do have an internal pci wifi adaptor but I plugged it in and my computer cannot detect it(light dosnt come on, not detected in device manager. So I am stuck with this usb one.
So USB issues?
Crysis online issue?
PCI card not being detected?
