Ah yes, remember this when you are one day in the real world trying to make ends meet and provide for your family while seeing the commission for that week that was to be spent on your kids school shoes will have to wait cos a bunch of dicks are 'protesting' and spouting garbage about things they know nothing about... all whilst watching your hard earned money being stolen by those in power instead of being spent on education and such.

They are campaigning for a 0% increase which means the fees will stay the same and won't fall :erm:

I'm actually lost, I thought they wanted the increase to be lower then they want it scraped. All these other protests are not helping.

As it stands right now, they seem to have morphed to "free education" which must also include a stipend for each student... so basically something that is pretty much unaffordable and should never ever be allowed to happen in this country.

Until a culture of respecting education and laws etc etc is shown, something that would "pay" a student to study is just a recipe for disaster.

Currently it's something unimaginable to implement but maybe with the right changes in future it could be something worth looking at.

Why?

Big issue is the number of tax payers.

With the amount of theft and corrupting they're going to need to bleed the tax payers dry to get this right.

Free education is an excellent idea, in theory, but it practicality it's not going to happen in South Africa anytime soon.
