Wits students protest over tuition fee increase

I just want to commend the Wits students for the cleaning up of senate house and their residency the other day after the protests. It was a good call on showed maturity on their behalf, also it good to see now that the striking students have started focusing their attentions at the right port of call (government), it is just a pity that the protesting actions have now been overtaken by some thugs.
 
#FeesMustFall seems like the students are starting to regroup and are heading back to the Union Buildings. MS
 
I wonder what has happened to the eNCA feed at the steps of he Union buildings. Camera still seemed to be working after hit.

Really? Well - I will say, at least they are going to the right place. If the government raised the subsidies higher then the fee increase could be lowered. However, the budget will have to be reworked etc etc etc. That being said - it isn't as if there aren't enough wastages that could be lowered to make this a non-issue...
