I agree the penalty for lying about being raped should be the same as for committing rape. If anything happens to the guy falsely accused the woman should also be charged with those crimes - assault, rape and if he dies, even by suicide, she should be charged with pre-meditated murder. Sentences should be consecutive.

Stoning is harsh and merely displays the posters ignorance and immaturity. However, she has done significant damage to the cause of real rape victims by placing a seed of doubt in any neandrithals little brain, who is likely to be the judge/magistrate in the next "real" rape case.
Looney feminists seriously proposed that men should have to be able to prove they had consent. Presumably you had to carry paperwork with you and get it notarised before proceeding. They also claimed that if a woman decided after the fact she hadn't really wanted to do it she could retroactively withdraw consent.

Honestly there are many things she could have done but accusing her father of raping her is about the worst she could have done. He should hire someone to actually brutally rape so she knows what rape really feels like and this time she can go tell the truth.

I've been accused and had rumors spread about me. She never went to the police with her claims, but trust me, I'm still treated very poorly by many. I'm even planning to move when i can finally afford to.

Sorry but cases like this should be made an example of and be dealt with harshly. She may only be 18 but being young is not always an excuse for doing something like this.

Just despicable? How could you possibly understand that damage that little girl has done to her father? Ofcourse you can't... you're a woman. Society has nothing against women who have been raped but pitty and empathy. Any male that gets accused or even a rumour suggests that he raped someone, he may aswell have "rapist' branded on his forhead. Males can never shake that reputation off, there is no room for fact when public opinion is in play.
So before you have any comments for the males that have replied to this thread... try walking a mile through a field of landmines in our shoes.
Hopefully word will get around and no male will be dumb enough to risk associating with her.
But only after his reputation has been dragged through the mud. The fact that he was charged will be remembered, that charges were dropped - well - people may not even hear of that OR they will still wonder - "He must have done something wrong" or "He paid her off" etc. Let's also not forget the months of hell he went through till the charges were dropped. This woman should also pay lots of cash for emotional injuries to him.
