Ok so this is wierd.

Friend phones me asking to go fishing with him for the weekend. I said, nope can't do the weekend but I'll come through just for Saturday (Would like a day out with the little boy of mine).

I said, I'll phone the wife and get back to him.

She says no, we can't afford to be going fishing with the fuel costs and entrance and what not. But if we had the money and she was back at work it would have been fine with her. (I have the money, but understand she's on maternity leave and what not so yes she has a point. I small one but one none the less).

Phone the friend and tell him I can't because of finances.... He says, no worries, he'll pay even give me money for fuel. I think by myself.... Cool so that's sorted then, will let the wife know.

OMG!

I phone her and she flips..... putting me on a guild trip because I arranged for everything to suite her, but then she throws in all other funny things.

FFS, she could have just said no, she said I can go if I had the cash and what not. Now that it's sorted she still has something to moan about.

Seriously, WTF ?
 
Money wasn't the original issue for her but she used it because she thought it would stop you going?

Now the fun of finding out what the real problem is starts... (My uneducated guess is that she wants help with the kids because dealing with two little ones and twin newborns is probably a bit rough.)

How long have you been married? You should know this by now.

sometimes when they say yes they mean no, and sometimes when they say no they mean yes - it's all about her tone of voice.

Anyway, Pitbull, how old are the twins? Maybe she needs you to stay cos she can do with some help - or even just some adult conversation - remember she is surrounded by kids the entire day. Make it nice for her.

I am not married and even I know that there are 2 types of logic :
1) Women logic , Take a left turn while she is pointing right for example
2) and Logic, - yes = yes and no = no.

They where born 09/06/2009 which makes them just over 6 weeks, 8 weeks maybe? Not going to count now. Anyway, the point is she said it would have been fine if we could afford it. Which I now can since I aint even paying for the fuel. But now she says that she's caught up in the house every day and and and. I even said she can join us, but then she has other excuses.

She just doesn't want me to go..... Period. But instead of saying so she keeps making stupid excuses.

Just damn frustrating that's all. I will go and I know that I'll be shag less for about a week or so because of it. Why do woman act like this? I now need to decide:

1. Go and have her be pissed at me for weeks at least with no punanie.
2. Stay at home and everything should be like normal.

That is sick torture and woman should be convicted and sent to jail for things like this :(

rather go , by the sounds of it you wouldn't want her pregnant again next year. So going without punanie might be good for you long term!
