Won R1000 cellc airtime

I've been trying to win the R1000, but have had no luck so far. I only found out about this competition through this thread. I have won every single week from the day this thread was created. What I noticed was that during weekdays, it's a lot more difficult to get anything. So I switched to playing mostly on weekends, with the week being my backup in case I fail to win for all the numbers I play.
I'm pretty sure with all the holidays this time of year, it should be easier to win than ever. Keep playing. Think of ways you can maximise your chances of winning ;) Some of us have figured out certain aspects of the game already, and I believe Cavedog gave away a clue to his own strategy a couple pages back.

TLDR:
1) Play at midnight or 7am
2) Figure out a way to maximise your chances of winning. The game only checks whether the number you provide is a Cell C one, and that it may enter the competition at the moment you're playing.

Does not look like it. I tried a couple of nights but just got the all prizes have been claimed. The 7am slot is still always open but as per usual slow and basically impossible to win. Sometimes they open it at 07:15am

I tried at 07:15 and got nothing.

Went to make some coffee, came back at about 07:50 and got my first R50 for the week.
Then continued to about 08:15. Got a few R25 and R50 airtime. No data.
Midnight since Friday has been a waste of time.
 
Won R200 airtime today morning. It is nice, as it is the first time I won airtime on my own SIM. :)
Previously each week won some data bundles for total 2GB.
Now is a time for R100,000 cash! Believe! :)
 
I won a few prizes on Sunday morning (a few mins after midnight). It does indeed appear as though most midnights are no longer open.
I find it a bit odd that I have not heard of any R100k cash winners in any of the social media platforms I'm a part of. One would think that with a winner every week, at least someone would brag about it on Fb, Twitter, Instagram...or here on MyBB.
 
Won 300MB at around 07:37 and another 100MB at 07:55.

Pressing that button is getting tiring now, especially if you start at 07:00.

Agree. Before when the competition was new I could win 20 big prizes in like 10min. Now 1 hour you may only get a few megabytes and maybe a R25 or R50 airtime.

I got 300mb and 100mb in the morning and 1 x R50. Lucky for me I stocked up in the beginning of the competition and still have like R5000 airtime spread around my simcards. Should last me a while :D
 
Won 500MB around 7:20 this morning.
Two SIM cards have "already won", but it is not true. A glitch on the server locks them out, permanent data corruption. The same happened last week on another 2 SIM cards.

Yeah happened to one of my ported number too for 3 weeks in a row.

BTW no prizes again tonight @ 00:00 which means the only known time for the new prize allocation is 7am daily....
