Woolworths Credit Card

I've received a replacement card previous card expired), but no pin number in the letter that came with it. Does anyone know if I just keep using my old pin or do I have to go into an Absa branch to get the pin?
In my experience no you don't need to go near ABSA, the old settings have worked fine. You just need to enter the PIN manually with each new card before the tap & pay will work. I always manage to forget that.

I keep getting an sms from ww that if I get a credit card I'll get R1000 I'm voucher.all I have is their free ww rewards.

What's the catch?

You must spend it all at once and you can't spend it on food. I bought a toaster.

So it wasn't one of those vouchers where they give you an amount off when you spend a certain amount?

So also got replacement cards for me and the wife.

No pins and the card number on the new card identical to one it replaced. Only CVV changed. Never saw that before.

Used card physically with first insert worked and tap and pay all good

With the new cards, I was able to load the cards onto Garmin Pay, (whereas the old ones never got that far) . Problem is when I use watch to pay, it never goes through.

Does Garmin Pay work with these cards?? Or do I need to do something else ?

It was, but the amount was R1000 and the voucher was also R1000.

I didn't even know I was getting a voucher

Just a reminder that if you have your CC linked to payments you need to update the CVV. In my case that's my monthly ISP payment and Uber etc. Uber helps itself to R10 every time you update the CVV.

Normally when someone validates a CC, they take R1-R2 and then return it immediately. For uber eats, it was R2 a few months ago.

In any case, WW is normally only used by me for in person stuff. Everything else in tied to FNB VCCs (that 6 year life time of the card makes it easier too ;)

Anybody have Garmin Pay working with the new WW cards? :) Or Apple Pay?

I am looking for this card to be loaded onto my watch and then I don't think I need a wallet anymore.

Did you do anything special? Wondering why the card loaded on watch, is not being accepted by the terminal.

Cheers
Nothing special. I just loaded it and it worked. I did have an issue at vending machine in the week, but same machine didn't want to accept my fnb pay either so I think the problem was the terminal

Ok will try again.

Perhaps my mistake was that i Ioaded the card first in Garmin Pay before actually using it physically in the store (to get it silently activated) and as such something is missing on the watch 'card' instance

As a test, will redo my one and see if there is a difference. If yes, will the do for the SO as her watch/card having the same issue.

So about 3ish weeks ago I ordered a black woolies CC online, and about 2 weeks ago I got an email saying the courier will contact me about delivery - and then nothing. Does it usually take them forever to deliver? I'm going to call them tomorrow and ask WTF is up.

I use my black WWCC on Garmin pay
This gives me great joy - I was hoping it would work with Garmin pay \:D/

Looking at the pricing guide, other than a 2.5% currency conversion fee there are no other charges for international payments right? Anyone used their card for international payments and can confirm?

I'm looking at switching my International Payments to the Woolies CC.

Have bought from Intl stores via PayPal and my WWCC - only the 2.5% conversion fee to worry about.

Anyone tried adding their WW credit card to Fitbit pay? The first step after entering the card number shows ABSA's t&cs then it gives me this error
