My old card didn't work with Garmin pay, but the replacement allowed me to register but then didn't work. I did this before I used the new card.

Today I deleted the card and then added it again. Success, first payment went through tonight. Woohoo. Wallet free day is finally here.

I got the same error on my old card but the new card added without issues on fitbit pay
 
Thanks guys, looks like I'll have to wait it out until a new card.

So long as they don't stuff up on linking or capturing the respective cell phone numbers correctly. I've had some hassles with cards #2 and #3 in terms of the OTP's going nowhere. Need to test if the latest attempt has rectified matters.
 
For those that got their card to work with Garmin Pay, did you have to do anything special? I signed up for a black card and I've managed to activate it. I can confirm that the card works - tested it today. When I try add it in Garmin pay, I get "Your card was not added to the Garmin Pay wallet. Please try adding the card again".

I don't suppose anyone here signed up this past month to get the R1000 voucher? Just wondering when they would process it.
 
As per my last post. My garmin pay card only seemed to start working (it was enrolled successfully) after I started using my physical replacement card. So in my case,
  • I got new card two months before existing card was supposed to expire (July)
  • End of June, Added to Garmin Pay . Success.
  • Try to use. Not working
  • Use new physical card
  • Re-enrol with Garmin Pay - a few weeks later (cos it wasn't important)
  • Success. works perfectly now.

I just added mine on the Garmin app and it worked. Didn't do anything special
 
I had a problem getting authorisation for an online purchase. Eventually I got the code. Looks like ABSA might be having a wobbly day.
