Woolworths Credit Card

I'm going to be away for 4 months and don't want my free coffees going to waste - if I give a friend my physical card, will she be able to redeem the coffees without the app?

You can give said friend a screenshot or printout of your WW Rewards card barcode taken from the WW App - I use that for redeeming rewards.

You'll need to activate each coffee voucher in the app before she redeems each one.

Ah, so all they need is the barcode. Great. After I activate a voucher, how long would she have to use it?

That I don't know. I have only ever activated while walking into the store, just before using it.

Once it is activated and she scans it, it will apply to the very next eligible coffee purchase.... As long as she uses it before the the expiry date (usually end of month).
I generally activate just before i use, as I don't always want to use the R60 valid voucher or a small drink. I activate it when i know I want a Grande!

OK, so I can activate the first one as soon as I get it, and whenever she wants to use it, she can (before it expires at the end of the month)? If she doesn't want to use it, she just doesn't scan my barcode. That should work. Once she's used the first one, I activate the second one.
 
From an email received just before 5PM today, subject header, "... your Woolies Credit Card fee update", my credit card type is a black card:

This is just a reminder that your Woolies Credit Card monthly fee will change from 1 July 2026, in line with inflation. Your total monthly fee will be
R74, made up of a R30 credit facility fee and a R44 monthly account fee.

Your fee structure remains aligned with industry standards and supports the ongoing service, security and convenience you expect from your Woolies Credit Card.

To change a WW credit card pin, do we do it at any ABSA ATM or any in-store WW ATM?

Then next time you use the card you're prompted for the PIN, then enter the new PIN and then it's synced?
 
Any idea why I got another cashback voucher on the 4th May after the April allocation?

There was a Mother's day promo where if you spent Rx amount on certain categories during that promo period, you would get a R200 cashback. I can't remember the full details. So its possible you qualified for this? if you did zero spend..... then you a Jedi!

See my post on the 25th of April. Their initial cash back calculation omitted transactions that cleared from 30 Jan to 12 Feb. The extra allocation on 4 May (in my case) exactly matched those missing transactions.

Got that too. But somehow managed to get R450 back. Was probably the obscenely priced bouquet of flowers I bought.
 
(My) WW Cafe can't access the cashback - hack is to buy a WW gift card using cashback at the main store tills first and then use that to pay at the Cafe.
